A Radio to the Gods.

Something ancient is buried beneath Providence — and it’s waking up.

Dark Providence is a supernatural noir horror audio drama and fiction podcast set in modern-day Providence, Rhode Island, where a disgraced journalist and a reluctant psychic investigate a series of violent murders that shock the small city. Their search leads them to a secret occult society tied to New England's Old Money,  a long-shuttered 1930s jazz-era supper club, and a source of power that exacts a terrible price.

As their investigation deepens, past and present begin to collapse into one another. Rituals once performed behind velvet ropes resurface in the present day, revealing that the horrors born in Depression-era New England never truly disappeared — they just learned how to wait.

Moody, character-driven, and unsettling, Dark Providence blends investigative thriller and slow-burn supernatural horror into a serialized audio drama about legacy, the price of power, and what happens when "facing your demons" isn't a figure of speech.

Fans of horror fiction podcasts, Lovecraft Country, True Detective, and Old Gods of Appalachia, rejoice–and welcome to Providence.
